Paul Burke is a Louisville native having attended St. Xavier High School and Bellarmine University. Following a brief minor league career with the Atlanta Braves, Paul joined Merck & Co., Inc. in 2000 advancing through the company to positions of increasing responsibility. In March of 2023, Paul joined his dad, J. Alan Burke as a financial advisor with Kentucky Financial Group.
Paul is licensed as a general securities representative (Series 7) with the capacity to handle stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and other financial instruments. Paul also holds a Series 66 license for fee-based financial advice as well as health and life insurance licenses.
Paul remains very active in the Louisville community having served as Chair of the St. X Alumni Board, Chair of the Bellarmine University Board of Overseers, Chair of the Advancement Committee for Catholic Charities of Louisville, and President of the Men’s Club at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Paul and his wife Nicole live in Louisville with their 3 daughters.
